The Platte River Power Authority (PRPA) has asked Larimer County to postpone the hearing on its application to build a new gas plant to Monday, April 21st.  Evidently it needs the time to prepare its response to questions the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) asked them after the hearing on March 10th.

The application will still be “called up on the record” at the BOCC meeting at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24th.  Northern Colorado Partners for Clean Energy (NCP4CE) is asking that people attend that meeting if they can to keep eyes on the process.  We do not anticipate that any public testimony will be taken on March 24th, but consider preparing short remarks about your thoughts on the process to date in case public input IS invited.  The meeting will be held in the main first floor hearing room of the Larimer County Administrative Services Building, located at 200 W. Oak Street in Fort Collins.  If you can attend, please wear green and sit at the front of the room so the BOCC can see you.

NCP4CE will be providing additional information on the hearing scheduled on April 21st in early April.  Mark your calendars for that hearing now, and watch this space for more information on that!
