Earth Day Picnic & March to Rally at the Federal Reserve

April 22, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Scientists across the world have sent a clear message: we only have a short window of time to significantly cut down greenhouse gas emissions and keep global warming below 1.5°celsius. Yet, Wall Street banks have continued to pump hundreds of billions of dollars into the fossil fuel industry, under the guidance of the U.S. Federal Reserve. This is why, on Earth Day April 22nd, we are calling on the Federal Reserve to stop funding the climate crisis, and start funding a Green New Deal.We hope you will join us as we gather on the East Lawn of the Denver Capitol (200 E Colfax Ave) at noon for an Earth Day picnic and celebration, followed by a march to the Federal Reserve Building (1020 16th St Mall, Denver) where we will rally to call for an end to fossil fuel financing! Hope to see you there!
