Salon duc Tape – The Ukraine Crisis – February 25th, 2022
**********
What would a reasonable solution look like?
On February 25th, Tom Mayer of the Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center will give a presentation on the history of the Ukraine and its relations with Russia, the origins of the current crisis, and the nature of U.S. responsibility for the crisis. He will also discuss what seems to him to be the eminently reasonable solution to the crisis.
Tom is a retired professor of sociology from the University of Colorado where he taught and performed research for over 40 years. Tom specialized in political economy, class analysis, and mathematical social science. He coordinates the Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center’s Global Peace Collective.
Salon duc Tape, a public forum sponsored by the Northern Colorado Alliance for a Livable Future (NCALF), meets on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month from 7:00 — 9:00 p.m. This salon is co-sponsored by NCALF affiliate Partners for Peace. We will continue to meet via Zoom until coronavirus variants no longer pose the serious threat that they do currently. You will need to register in advance for this salon here. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information – including a new link – about joining the salon.
